They start off on a bad note but eventually become friends and begin their somewhat romantic journey together to help heal him. The central story focuses on the relationship between the chairman of a company Wei Qing, who develops a disorder that prevents him from having any kind of contact with other human beings and an art student Zhou Shi who the chairman is immune to.
I would recommend this for the three storylines, the young (with good acting) cast, and interesting characterizations. It also helps that the drama kept almost everyone's original voice (except the male lead's, don't know why, probably his voice doesn't have the dominance of a chairman?).
It stars a relatively new and unknown cast and I can say, their acting exceeds expectations, especially the female lead Zhou Shi and second male lead Ning Fei. This, on the other hand, is a hidden gem. Looks rated R but they are only sleeping in the same bed because it is only when they share a bed that the main lead can sleep well without nightmaresīefore watching this, I've watched a little of Our Glamorous Times and after hearing about how the focus switched from first leads to the supporting leads, I've decided to stop watching because it brought back bad memories from Princess Agents. Looking at the promotional materials, there are three couples, which I dig since there wouldn't be too much 狗血 (dog blood) plot twists, and there weren't. This story with the main male lead having some sorts of OCD has been done quite frequently throughout the past year but after watching the trailer, I wanted to give this drama a try. This drama is currently subbed on productiveprocrastination.(-0.5) for getting interesting only 3 episodes in for me Here are some stills between Wei Qing and Zhou Shi because I find them so adorable!!! I like Wei Qing’s hair down, he looks younger and more energetic 🙂 PLEASE WATCH THIS DRAMA. look at this cute aftermath still of He Wei trying to cause trouble but instead causing some ❤ He would be “let’s do this to make zhoushi and wei qing uncomfortable/break up” but it always backfires. However, we have to thank He Wei for being the cause of so many cute scenes between Wei Qing and Zhou Shi. So there is this unexplained rivalry between Wei Qing and He Wei, which is quite one-sided because Wei Qing doesn’t really care about what his uncle is doing. For example, He Wei likes to steal Wei Qing’s girlfriends and talk bad about him to Wei Qing’s mother. These characters are just inserted when the plot demands them and they do not really have a clear goal of why they are doing something. Some characters don’t really make sense/ aren’t well developed such as Wei Qing’s uncle (I think his name is He Wei) and the other antagonists Zhang Shuai and Zhang Ran Yu (are they related? because they have the same surname but the drama did not really state what is their relationship). There are mysteries/plot points, such as Wei Qing’s family/father’s death and Ning Fei’s backstory, that the drama tried to develop and round off successfully.
I am really basic so I really like the main pairing between Zhou Shi and Wei Qing (they have the best chemistry for me). We have the older male and younger female younger male and older female and the last one is more of female smarter than male even though they are both quite intelligent. With 3 really different romantic pairings, you could probably find one you like. The 3 female characters, Zhou Shi, Lin Fei Fei and Bi Qiu Qing (from top to bottom) are roommates with Ning Fei, the cute actor from the second pairing. Going on to the romantic relationships in the drama, SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT please do not continue if you do not want to know if the romantic pairings in the drama. So this is an enjoyable light romance drama with no angst, that I highly recommend. literal bed sharing and nothing else >_< no dirty thoughts please This is not a slow burn romance because you do not have to wait for the characters to slowly fall in love/becoming an official couple before getting those super cute scenes. She helps to cure him and in the process, they fell in love.” You can say this is quite a cliche and normal romance drama, mostly fluff with misunderstandings. I can easily sum it up as “CEO with OCD meets painter girl and they hate each other. I guess I don’t have to provide a summary of About Is Love 大约是爱 for you since they are up on every drama platform. It can also be translated to It is Probably Love, which would make more sense. Let me explain the title: 大约是爱 is the literal translation of About Is Love.
